My glasses prescription is too high for a rimless frame?
I buy a rimless frame, and said that the increase recipes do not work for them. My eyes are: R-6.00-1.25×165 L-4.25-1.75×170. I have no idea what that means, but I guess 1.67 lenses with high index should make them thinner, Yes? Will I be able to do so? Will they look stupid? (Actually, I used to play pool) Thanks advance. You guys are killing me …. awww, I'm sad. Is it possible to tell how thick that I expect them to be? Ma main concern is that I need a pair of glasses I use to shoot pool (game 30 + hours per week) waiting for the Lasik surgery.
Yagman said like, you can do, but you will not see very well. Even if you're not using a high index lens (which is the thinnest, lighter material available), still have significant thickness to the edge. With the RX and astigmastism, I advise against a frame without frame, without doubt. To put this in perspective, think of the Glass Frames to prove no rx in them, and then imagine that 7x thicker Abot the eye Law and 5x thicker on the left. Edit: If you use to play pool, I suppose it would be great especially in terms thick?
