Many people trust on local toothpaste. Together with toothbrush and other dental health product package the patient can choose the right toothpaste in the market. A lot of people use the health products. The regular use of commercial toothpaste will increase chances of oral disease most especially. One ingredient found in toothpaste is dangerous if accumulated by the body especially by the teeth. For instance, why do you have to experience a bleeding gums treatment if your toothpaste contains sodium lauryl sulfate? The answer is simple. This substance has been proven to be an irritant to skin. Therefore, how much more damage can it do to the tender gum tissue found in your mouth? At the same time, sodium lauryl sulfate does little more than create a bit of foam while consumers are brushing their teeth. This is making this substance more of a cosmetic add-on to the toothpaste than an actually functional attribute. Industrial applications for sodium lauryl sulfate are found in heavy duty cleaners, degreasing agents and the actual irritant for the sake of animal experimentation.
